My dear young friends,
The story of the Wise Men is one of my favorites to share!
These learned scholars traveled far from the East, following a bright star that God placed in the sky.
They were searching for baby Jesus, the newborn King. Despite King Herod’s sneaky attempts to use them to harm Jesus, these faithful travelers found Mary and her child in Bethlehem.
With joyful hearts, they presented precious gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
God then warned them in a dream to avoid Herod, so they returned home by a different route.
Their journey shows us how God guides those who seek Him with sincere hearts.
