My dear friends,
What a beautiful moment we find in Luke’s Gospel!
Mary, carrying baby Jesus in her womb, hurrying with excitement to visit her older cousin Elizabeth, who was also expecting a child – John the Baptist.
When Mary arrived and called out a greeting, something amazing happened: Elizabeth’s baby leaped with joy in her womb!
Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out with happiness, blessing Mary and the child she carried.
This touching scene shows us how Jesus brought joy even before His birth and how Mary’s loving visit to help her cousin demonstrates true friendship and family love.
