My dear brothers and sisters,

The Transfiguration draws us into sacred mystery.

As Jesus prayed on the mountain, His face changed, and His clothes became dazzling white. Moses and Elijah appeared, speaking of His coming departure in Jerusalem.

In this luminous moment, I see our invitation to transformation.

Like Peter, we often wish to remain in moments of spiritual clarity, building tents to capture divine presence.

Yet Jesus calls us down from the mountain into everyday life, changed by our encounters with glory.

The Father’s voice still echoes: “This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to Him!” In listening, we too are transfigured, step by step, into Christ’s likeness.
